After the success of the first edition, the World Plogging Championship returns in autumn 2022, from 30th September to 2nd October in Villar Perosa, Piedmont, Italy, a unique and innovative race, which brings together professional athletes and amateur runners united by the desire to combine sport and sustainability.
From March 2022, the qualifying races took place in 4 European countries (Italy, France, Greece, Spain). Athletes who love the environment had the opportunity to run with a bag, collecting littering and gaining points for the general ranking. Check it on www.ploggingchallenge.com.
