National Team Plogging Championship
We are ready to take the World Plogging Championship to a next level in terms of difficulty, scale, and participation.
The team-based speciality comes by the necessity to boost team play and to prove once again that together you can do more and better.
The National Team Plogging Championship will run for the first time ever. National competitions will be organized by a Committee, in charge of the selection of the finalists that will attend the World Cup.
Each country needs to set up a National Committee (NC) in control of the National Team Plogging Championship (NPC), following the rules described in the disciplinary protocol and after the official recognition as qualifying Championship for the Team World Cup from the Plogging International Committee (PIC).
The NPC must be held in the period between March 31st and July 31st, 2024, so that the result and the composition of the representative team can be notified in good time for the World Cup.
Applications are open
From Friday 12th January, applications to organize National Committees and team-based Championships are open all around the world.
Anyone can arrange a group of people and decide to apply by following the instructions, described in the Application Form and the Disciplinary Regulations.

Useful information:
a) National Committees applications to organize the National Team Plogging Championship can be submitted by April 15th, 2024, to the Plogging International Committee, PIC to info@worldploggingchampionship.com, by delivering these documents.
– Application Form, filled in all its parts, and signed by the members of the National Committee.
b) The Disciplinary Regulations indicate all the rules for the proper organization and conduct of the National Team Plogging Championship.
c) During the following two weeks after the deadline, the PIC will check all the applications. On March 30th, 2024, the PIC will publish the official list of the admitted National Committees and their championships.
d) In case of multiple applications from the same country, the PIC will get them in contact to join their forces and deliver a common application.
e) Each application will be evaluated by the PIC within 3 days from the receiving date. After the assessment, candidates will be notified if their applications meet the criteria and are therefore eligible for the selection or if some changes will be needed; in the second scenario, candidates have 1 week (7 days) to amend the application and forward it again. In the next 3 days will be issued the final evaluation.
f) The National Team Plogging Championship must be held by July 31st, 2024, and the members’ nominatives of the winner teams must be communicated to the International Plogging Committee by September 15th, 2024.
g) In the week following the launch of the call, useful materials for the application process will be published; please, make sure to check the Drive folder more often.
